What Makes Us Different?
Over the course of the past eight years, Dr. Randall Gates has dedicated his professional and personal time towards his search for the underlying causes of the chronic conditions that impact thousands of lives every day. Through extensive research and study, Dr. Gates has made it his personal mission to find impactful solutions to previously untreatable or dismissed chronic conditions. His research has led him to discover that the brain is the primary factor involved with several chronic gastrointestinal and chronic pain conditions, in addition to it being the center piece of neurological diseases. His focus is now centered on balancing the brain and body through chiropractic neurology.
Dr. Randall Gates, D.C., Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist
Who is this Dr. Gates, anyway?
Dr. Randall Gates, D.C. Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologist, also a Chiropractic Physician, has dedicated over 18 years of his life to his passion for healing the human body. Let’s start from the beginning:
From 2000 to 2005, Dr. Gates completed his Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. We can mark this as the beginning of his voyage into the world of functional neurology.
Dr. Gates entered Chiropractic School in 2006 and graduated as Valedictorian of his class in 2009. During his time in school, he also completed a three-year training program that involved 300 in-class hours to sit for the American Chiropractic Neurology Board examination in June and July of 2010. Needless to say, he passed with flying colors!
In addition to his schooling, Dr. Gates has also completed a combined 250 hours in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Movement Disorders, and Traumatic Brain Injuries. His ongoing research involves reviewing thousands of reference articles for any information he can apply to helping his patients. Don’t be surprised to catch him in the wee hours of the morning reading through an academic paper or research article or two! (Or three, or four…)
He has also had 9 years and counting of clinical practice, during which he applies that ceaseless research into helping those with autoimmune, neurological, and chronic pain conditions without drugs or surgery. With this research and clinical practice, he has developed his own unique model for addressing these conditions with as few supplements as possible, focusing instead on the nuances of the correct foods and vitamins for his patient’s needs, as well as designing rehabilitative exercises for lesioned areas of the brain.
Currently, there are approximately 500 Board Certified Chiropractic Neurologists in the world. Dr. Gates has worked tirelessly for years to be one of those 500. But he is not, and will never be, done learning and adapting to create the best possible system of care for his patients.
What Drives Dr. Gates?
Functional neurology has become something of a buzzword as of late, but what does it really mean? To Dr. Gates, it means more than substituting medication with supplements and hoping for the best. To him, it means taking a step back from traditional medicine and addressing the root cause of the problem. He views the body as a whole and treats and heals it as a whole. And so far, for thousands of patients, it has worked!
His passion has been to create his own unique treatment protocols, influenced in large part by addressing the right foods for each individual’s food sensitivities and microbiome. In addition to this, he has designed an effective means for rehabbing areas of the brain that have been damaged by trauma, inflammation, or stress hormones with succinct neuroplasticity-based exercises.
Dr. Gates isn’t looking for fame and fortune. He is looking to heal the world in a new way. He tutors other MDs on his treatment applications and assessments of those with chronic pain. He holds seminars, hosts radio shows and podcasts, and records videos on his findings all for the sake of educating those who may benefit from it. He has patients that fly in from all over the world for treatment, and he is personally invested in the health and wellbeing of each individual one.
